All of the vintage Mexican movie posters for sale on this page have been professionally linen-backed -- meaning they are affixed on to a heavy canvas. Generally speaking, the canvas measures at least one inch larger than the poster in all directions, making the canvas on a standard Mexican onesheet approximately 29x39 inches. Linen-backing increases the value of vintage posters in several ways. 1. It makes the posters ready for easy framing. 2. It lessons the visible fold lines. 3. It protects the posters from further damage caused by opening and handling (this is especially important for fragile Mexican one-sheet posters). 4. Most of the linen-backed posters also have had some light to moderate restoration, which make minor flaws such as; tears, fold wear, and border chips far less noticable.
